Dexter Compliance Framework

We take compliance very seriously.  We strive to put in place standards to help experts manage conflicts and enable our clients to implement their own protocols. We have worked to develop the compliance framework for primary research as below.

DEXTER EXPERTS

In order to be eligible to consult, Dexter requires experts to sign our Terms and Conditions. By signing, they agree that they:

  • Have reviewed any agreements or policies to which they are subject and are permitted to join the Dexter expert network;
  • Will decline to participate in any project that would violate those agreements or any obligations they may owe to third parties;
  • Will not provide confidential (including material non-public) information to clients;
  • Will immediately terminate any consulting projects that move into subject matters they cannot discuss. They will still be paid for the time they spent on the call prior to this point

We actively solicit expert conflicts of interest and use this information to disqualify experts from projects that aren’t suitable for them.

CLIENTS

We recognize that every client has their own protocols for how users engage with experts. We have the  capability to  supplement our  compliance framework with that of our clients by giving them the following options:

  • Pre-approve consultations
  • Set up custom screening questions
  • Share the biography of the experts suggested for a consultation
  • Integration of client’s do-not-contact lists

EMPLOYERS

We recognize that employees of companies should be treated differently than independent consultants. We are proactively building a database of employer guidelines and policies concerning activity by any of their employees. We are ready to immediately and comprehensively enforce organizations’ policies prohibiting or limiting outside consulting to any employees currently in our expert network. If you’re an employer and want to inform us of any policies you have regarding outside consulting, please feel free to do so by emailing us at info@dexterexperts.com.
